Human and animal food protection professionals who are able to independently perform risk-based inspections at a variety of facilities in addition to performing more complex investigations than inspectors at the basic level. These professionals would normally comprise the bulk of the human and animal food inspection workforce and perform most of the core human and animal food protection activities for their program.
