An international steering committee has been assembled to enhance global food safety by providing an accessible, comprehensive, and up-to-date repository of food safety information, education and training resources for professionals, educators, and regulators worldwide.

One of the outputs of the symposium was the creation of an international steering committee to oversee the development of a platform to host training, policies, and other resources to be shared worldwide using a clearinghouse approach.
