Assessing Seafood Sanitation Practices

$99.00

The Assessing Seafood Sanitation Practices bundle comprises three distinct modules, each of which features a series of interactive simulations where the learner is asked to inspect seafood processing facilities for compliance with a specific set of regulations within the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR): 1) the cleaning and sanitation regulations; 2) pest control regulations; and 3) sanitary facilities regulations.

By the end of the three modules, the learner will be able to: locate the regulations within the CFR: 2) inspect seafood facilities for compliance with the regulations; and 3) identify non-compliance with the regulations.

These modules align with various competencies that are part of the FDA National Curriculum Standard (NCS), which sets forth the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed by regulatory food protection professionals for successful job performance. Specifically, the modules align with the cGMPs, Sanitation Principles, and Facility Design content areas within the NCS.

Course Length: 3 hours for the curriculum
