Resource Submission

Two options are available to submit a Learning Resource for review.

The Manual Competency Selection option requires:

  • Basic Submitter Information

  • Basic Learning Resource Information

  • Learning Resource Materials

  • Quality Profile Completion

  • Manual Selection of All Associated Competencies from the National Curriculum Standards Competency Listing

Do you want AI to analyze your Learning Resource information and materials to generate a list of Competencies to be submitted for review?

The AI Agent Assisted Competency Selection option requires:

  • Basic Submitter Information

  • Basic Learning Resource Information

  • Learning Resource Materials

  • Quality Profile Completion

The AI Agent will gather all of this information submitted and analyze it to select competencies that match the Learning Resource content provided.

Step 1: Basic Info

  • Resource Location: Provide the URL where this resource can be found for participants to enroll; this will be displayed in the resource catalog upon approval.

  • Resource Image: Provide the image that should be used as the display image in the resource catalog upon approval (course thumbnail 229px x 173px)

  • Learning Resources Materials: Please upload the learning resource instructor guide (if available) along with the course design document. These documents will not be retained once the review process has been completed.

  • Materials Type: Assessment, Certification Exam, Game, Hybrid (No in-person component), Hybrid (W/in-person component)
    In-Person Instructor-Led, Job Aid, Online Asynchronous Module, Simulation, Textbook, Video, Virtual Instructor-Led

  1. Defined Purpose: Provide the course purpose statement explaining what the course is intended to accomplish for learners.

  2. Intended Audience: Identify the intended audience for the course, including role, experience level, or functional area.

  3. Needs Analysis: Describe the need, gap, or rationale the course was designed to address. This may include regulatory needs, workforce development needs, performance gaps, or organizational requirements.

  4. Learning Objectives: Provide the objectives of what learners are expected to know or be able to do from this course.

  5. Instructional Content: Describe the need, gap, or rationale the course was designed to address. This may include regulatory needs, workforce development needs, performance gaps, or organizational requirements.

  6. Subject Matter Expert (SME) Involvement: Identify the subject matter expert(s) involved and describe their role in developing, reviewing, or validating the course content.

  7. Content Review and Validation: Describe the process used to review and validate the course content for accuracy and relevance.

  8. Delivery Modality: Identify the delivery modality of the course (e.g., instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, asynchronous, blended, or hybrid).

  9. Course Duration: Provide the estimated course duration or engagement time (in minutes).

  10. Learner Engagement: List and describe the learning opportunity components for learner engagement included in the course (e.g., activities, discussion, practice, reflection).

  11. Assessment or Knowledge Check: Describe the method used to assess or reinforce learning (e.g., quiz, test, activity, or discussion).

  12. Accessibility and Usability:List the accessibility and usability features included to support learners (e.g., voice-overs, closed captions, transcripts, etc.).

  13. Course Provider or Owner: Identify the provider, organization, instructor, or owner responsible for the course.
