Learning Pathways

Learning pathways are structured, competency-based roadmaps that guide workforce development from entry-level to advanced roles. Built on the National Curriculum Standards (NCS), these pathways connect required competencies with aligned training resources, helping learners and supervisors clearly understand what skills have been achieved and what remains to be developed.

Rather than focusing on individual courses, learning pathways organize training into purposeful sequences that support onboarding, career progression, specialization, and succession planning. By linking learning to defined roles and competency expectations, RLTS enables a more strategic, transparent, and consistent approach to workforce development—ensuring professionals are prepared to meet national standards and evolving public health needs.
