Catching up with Autumn Schuck

Autumn Schuck was a member of Cohort VI.

At that time, she was the Inspection Manager for retail food at the Kansas Department of Agriculture.

Since then, she has taken on an AFDO committee co-chair position based on her fellowship project! Check out her committee work:  https://www.afdo.org/resources_category/foreign-language/

Not only is she involved with AFDO on a committee level, she joined AFDO staff in 2022 working on training and education through managing AFDO’s Virtual Inspector Bootcamp, and being a part of instructor cadres for several food safety classes.

The Fellowship gave me a jump start back into food safety networking after having been home with my children for five years. Being part of such a wonderful group of food safety professionals gave me essential contacts to do my best protecting public health in my work but also great friendships ever since!
