  1. Defined Purpose
    Provide the course purpose statement explaining what the course is intended to accomplish for learners.

  2. Intended Audience
    Intended Audience Identify the intended audience for the course, including role, experience level, or functional area.

  3. Needs Analysis
    Describe the need, gap, or rationale the course was designed to address. This may include regulatory needs, workforce development needs, performance gaps, or organizational requirements.

  4. Learning Objectives
    Provide the objectives of what learners are expected to know or be able to do from this course.

  5. Instructional Content
    Describe the need, gap, or rationale the course was designed to address. This may include regulatory needs, workforce development needs, performance gaps, or organizational requirements.

  6. Subject Matter Expert (SME) Involvement
    Identify the subject matter expert(s) involved and describe their role in developing, reviewing, or validating the course content.

  7. Content Review and Validation
    Describe the process used to review and validate the course content for accuracy and relevance.

  8. Delivery Modality
    Identify the delivery modality of the course (e.g., instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, asynchronous, blended, or hybrid).

  9. Course Duration
    Provide the estimated course duration or engagement time.

  10. Learner Engagement
    List and describe the learning opportunity components for learner engagement included in the course (e.g., activities, discussion, practice, reflection).
