The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO), Michigan Department of Agriculture and the International Food Protection Training Institute (IFPTI) are sponsoring this one-day seminar to update food regulators and food emergency responders on the rapidly evolving role of environmental sampling in food protection and defense efforts. The training is designed to provide timely updates for local, state, and federal food protection and defense professionalos seeking to expand their agency capacity to incude environmental sampling in routine food regulatory programs and emergency response.
