BATTLE CREEK, Mich. and BATON ROUGE, La., Feb. 24, 2010 - The International Food Protection Training Institute (IFPTI) and the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training at Louisiana State University (NCBRT) announced today that they have executed a Memorandum of Understanding covering their collaboration in the development and delivery of food protection training programs. Course to be Held in Battle Creek, MI on March 22-23, 2010

This course is designed to provide food facility managers and officials at the federal, state, county and local levels with performance and planning-based tools to assess vulnerabilities for all food facilities.  Facilities and operations considered to be "at risk" can reduce or eliminate that risk through appropriate planning and training.  Training will include interactive exercises and case studies to stimulate problem-based learning.

Leavitt to provide strategic input and counsel to clients in matters involving health, the environment and trade.
